UNAMIR mandate includes among other things establishing of Cantonment Points and
taking all the heavy weapons under its custody. It is obvious that such operations require a
careful preparation and involve expenditure of a lot of money, In this view and for the
. purpose of economy and organization, I have to request you for detailed information on:
1, Heavy weapons inventory by types.
2. Essential requirements for storage according to your standards,
3. Estimation of the necessary maintenance by type; ic, how uany men should
be involved and how often,
4, Current location of your heavy weapons.
