MONTREAL, Sept 24 (AFP) - Immigration officials said Friday they have ordered the deportation of a brother-in-law of Rwanda's president who was convicted in Canada of making death threats against two human rights advocates.
Protais Zigiranyirazo, 55, was arrested at the Montreal airport upon his return from Rwanda Tuesday and is to be deported next week, officials said.
While studying at a Montreal university, Zigiranyirazo was accused by human rights groups of being involved with killings in Rwanda.
