PARIS, Jan 13 (AFP) - Former minister Bernard Kouchner was admitted to hospital Friday after developing complications in a back problem incurred during a recent trip to Rwanda, aides said.
Kouchner, who was minister for humanitarian action and who is now a Euro-MP, was due to stay in hospital for several days for "monitoring and treatment."
The ex-minister, a socialist who has indicated he might run in spring presidential elections in France, visited Rwanda from December 19-24 to open an orphanage.
