NAIROBI, Dec 3 (AFP) - More than 2,000 Burundian refugees have entered neighbouring Rwanda in the past week to escape fighting between Hutu rebels and minority Tutsi-dominated security forces, state-run radio Rwanda reported in a broadcast monitored here on Tuesday.
The radio said the refugees had crossed into the Rwandan towns of Kivu and Gikongoro.
"The influx ... has not stopped. More are arriving daily", the radio said, adding that this implied trouble was still mounting in Burundi.
On Monday the Burundian interior ministry said there was renewed fighting in the northern region of Cibitoke.
