Since the start of Operation "Turquoise", the French soldiers have reported "tensions" with Hutu militiamen carrying knives and sometimes firearms, who set up roadblocks. For its part, Italy should send a mission to Rwanda to verify the conditions for the assistance of the armed forces to the humanitarian initiatives already taken by the Italian government.
