PARIS, April 8 (Reuter) - A French serviceman and his wife have been killed in fighting in Rwanda, Radio France Internationale said in an unconfirmed report on Friday.
The radio, quoting ``reliable sources in Paris'', said the non-commissioned officer and his wife were killed at their home in the capital Kigali. The radio said it had no further details.
A defence ministry spokesman said he could not immediately confirm or deny the report.
There are about 600 French nationals in Rwanda, most of them in Kigali.
